Doug has worked in Finance out of Portsmouth, New Hampshire for more than 30 years with firms including JP Morgan Chase, Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley and most recently Wells Fargo Advisors.
A student of Yale Economist Robert Schiller, Doug also has a Graduate Certificate in Financial Analysis from Harvard University. His undergraduate studies were at Carnegie Mellon and University of New Hampshire.
Doug currently serves on Shoals Marine Laboratory (Advisory Board). Doug’s past service on nonprofit boards includes: The Music Hall (Trustee & Vice President), Crossroads House (Former Board President), the Mount Washington Observatory (Trustee), The Boston Foundation (Advisors Committee), the Foundation for Seacoast Health (Incorporator). He has served as a lecturer, moderator and instructor at University of New Hampshire as well as at several regional foundations & museums. Doug has been certified as a Charitable Gift Planner by the NH Charitable Fund. He has served on several art museum committees and many of his clientele are art collectors.
Private equity investment & offerings are in Doug’s wheelhouse, with a recent example culminating in the Oatly Group IPO in May 2021.
Doug lives in Rye Beach, NH with his wife of 27 years, Karin. Their daughters Lizzie & Ali are alumni of Bucknell University and they work in NYC. As a family they all enjoy skiing, hiking, fine art & travel.
